Dan and Judie over at Gear Diary have played with the Camangi Webstation and in one of their latest videos they are showing the text input on the Webstation.

nd while we’re at it, here is one more quick tip for anyone who gets a Camangi and is frustrated by the process to “wake” it: all you need to do is press and hold the center Menu button for (maybe) two seconds; the lock screen will pop right up. Just tap the on/off button on top to turn off the screen and put it back to sleep for battery conservation. Obviously we would know these things if there had been a better instruction booklet included, but in the meantime, Dan and I are having fun discovering tips like this and sharing them with each other.

The heart of the Orb speaker system is the spherical Mod1 satellite speaker, which is a little bigger than a baseball and is made from high carbon steel. The Mod1 uses advanced technologies like rare earth magnets, Santoprene, Nomex and CCAD voice coils to produce big, full sound from the smallest possible package.  “Using ultra-high quality parts, and using them conservatively, really allows us to push the limits of physics so that these little speakers have a lot of the characteristics of much bigger speakers,” said Siegel. “My partner (co-founder and Chief Designer, Gary Pelled) really pulled the rabbit out of the hat on this one.”

All that great sound emanates from beautiful steel cabinets that are designed with both sound and style in mind – the Orbs will sound great and look great in the living room.  The Orbs are handmade by metalwork artisans and hand-assembled in the company’s Sherman Oaks California production facility.  The speakers are round and measure only about 4 3/16 inches in diameter, so they fit anywhere.  With five finishes available, they are sure to blend with any décor.  The Metallic Black Gloss and Pearl White Gloss are both luxurious, premium baked-on powder coatings that rival the beauty of the finish of the most upscale automobile.  The Metallum^TM Series consists of three handmade metallic finishes, created by California artisans in very small batches:  Hand-Polished Steel, Hand-Antiqued Copper and Hand-Antiqued Bronze.  These finishes achieve a level of detail and beauty more commonly found in sculptures than in audio equipment, so consumers can fill their room with sound, not big, ugly speaker boxes.

Best of all, an Orb Audio speaker system is modular and upgradable, which is another completely unique feature.  Each Orb speaker in an audio system can actually be made from one, two or four individual Orbs (Mod1, Mod2 and Mod4).  A buyer who starts with the Mod1 system can upgrade to Mod2 or Mod4 at any time in the future, going from the entry level Orb system to the top of the line, as their needs or budget require.  Other speaker systems have to be completely replaced if you want to upgrade them.

I just got my Zune HD dock and I have to say that it is the best looking docking station that I have had.  On the front of the device you have a small Zune logotype that glows when you have your Zune HD docked.

On the back of the device you have an antenna, hdmi output , optical outputand AV output.  The antenna allows you to listen to the HD radio on your Zune HD.

I got my Zune HD docking station on Amazon right before christmas and it was one of those things that I knew that I had to get.  If I compare it to the earlier docking station that Microsoft sold with both the harddrive and flashbased, this feels like a huge upgrade.  They have added more outputs then they have had before and the looks of the docking station. This one feels like it is much more in time then before.

One thing I am interested in trying is how well the antenna works since one of the things that I use on my Zune HD is the radio portion, listening around one hour a day to the radio..

A couple of nice items arrived from Plantronics a couple of days ago, one of them was the Discovery 975.  The 975 is the successor to the 925 from Plantronics. Besides a cleaner and for me more improved design, they have added some nice touches to the 975’s carrying case. You now have a small display that shows how much battery you have left on both your headset and in your case.

Pairing it with my iPhone 3G was a breeze. It was easy to put it in pairing mode by pressing the button and getting it to flash red and blue.

The first test I did was to call my family home in Sweden and it had extremely good sound quality. What amazed me with this was that this was with my iPhone in my bedroom and me standing in the living room.

As a golfer it is important for me to easily carry my devices with me all the time, one thing that impressed me with the carrying case is that you get a small clip that I can clip on onto my golf bag. What impresses me with this is that it is hooked onto my golf bag steadily. During the days that I have used it so far it has not once loosened up from my golf bag.

The first thing I did when I got it, was to charge it.  During the 48 hours that I have used it so far, with around one hour of calling time the bars on the headset has only gone down one bar. I am really enjoying this headset.

One thing that I like about the headset is the shape of it. If the gel of the headphone is not to your liking you can switch them out to another one that Plantronics ships with it.  Personally I found that the standard one fits me the best personally.

I was at the local Publix store here in Orlando, and there was two things I noticed while browsing among the gift cards:

• Itunes gift cards was availible.
• XBOX gift cards  was availible.

Microsoft should really start  to push the Zune brand out there in more stores to make people curious about the Zune brand.

I have been enjoying using the interface that comes with Windows Mobile 6.5, compared to the earlier software versions of Windows Mobile this one is a huge upgrade for me. It reminds alot of the interface on the Microsoft Zune HD.

They have added some really cool themes from different designers such as Rock and Republic, Isac Mizrahi and Ron Arad Orange. If these are not something that interests you, you can always remove these themes in settings and after that remove programs.

If we instead go down to the picture portion of the layout you can eaisly move between different pictures taken with the camera.

One portion of the software that I really like is that when you go do down to the mail slide of the layout , you can easily switch between different email accoutns to check for new emails in different accounts.

Another good portion that they have added is at the bottom of the screen they have a shortcut for Internet Explorer. Personally I would like to see an option of customising this so that you can have a shortcut for your favorite web browser or software. Another interesting option could be adding addtional shortcuts as you want to.

Here comes the pictures that was promised earlier. It might not be that camera replacement that you carry with you each day but it is nice for those instant shots.

The specifications of the camera is a 3.1 megapixel camera… Personally it will not replace my Nikon but I will definetly have it for those instanst hsots with me all the time.

I am personally happy with the camera on the Glisten. What about you? Is this something that you could consider as your mainphone camera?

After reseting my Glisten once more to see if I can clear the issue that I have been having with the device I synced it up with Microsoft My Phone service. I logged in and downloaded the Microsoft My Phone Service to make certain that I had the latest calendar and contacts items on my device.

One thing that I like if you are in a capped data plan you can selects what items that that you want to sync. Naturally I like this since I am currently on the AT&T prepaid data plan. There two things that I synced up:

• Calendar
• Contacts

After syncing these two items I can now have my latest items synced up to my device.  If you are ever in need for a new device, I recommend that you check out My Phone.
