Are you out there looking for a keyboard and mouse combination? Have money to spend? Look at the ultimate combination that Microsoft have ever created for us.
It combines three different items; mouse, keyboard and a new charging dock. You charger the keyboard by sliding it under the charging port and when you want to charge your mouse you put it on the top and it is charging. What really sets it apart from other devices is that it has a backlit keyboard.

One thing that I noticed when first started using the keyboard is that it is really curvy. The keys on the keyboard feels a lot like the keys you have on a laptop and gives an excellent feeling. Layout on the keyboard is similar to the ones that you have on a normal keyboard. The difference that I have noticed so far is that the F keys are touch sensitive instead of the regular type of keys. They work excellent by simply swiping your fingers. On the right you have a media center which takes you straight to the media center application. On the left you have a navigation pad that allows you to easier navigate your pc while either sitting in your bed or your sofa.

On the left you have a right/left mouse click buttons, magnifier button, gadget buttons to show your sidebar and show desktop. There is also a couple of media buttons to allow you to change the volume, and skip audio tracks both forwards and backwards.

The keyboard is also backlit. One thing I have noticed while using the keyboard is that when you turn the light on and off in your room the backlit on the keyboard automatically switches on and off.
The mouse is simple but has an elegant design while it fits excellent in the palm of your hand. You have a left and right buttons on this mouse. There is also two buttons that you can program to fit your work space.
The hub is a great accessory it does not only charge your mouse nad your keyboard but it also provides an additional four extra USB ports. It is really easy to charge and all you have to is to simply slide your keyboard under the docking station.

Conclusion: This is an excellent keyboard that provides the users with a lot of extra functions that are needed today. I have tried it both under Vista and Windows 7 and it works excellent in each system. It is an keyboard that is easy to use and to configure.

Where to buy: I have found it over at prisjakt for 2500 SEK.
